                       TINTAGEL-KING ARTHUR COUNTRY
             RED ROUTE CHOSEN FOR BYPASS

Camelford  Goes for The 'Red (Western) Route'
The long awaited by-pass  will be from a roundabout just past the Camelot Garage/Bodmin turn
on the Wadebridge road. This will then pass over the Camel valley on a Viaduct and North of Trefrew,
before joining the A39 at Tramaggena. This route, some traders feel, will destroy their businesses.
The County Council have decided that this is the preferred route & the planning application was passed by the County Council.

The Go Ahead For the road was given on December 1st 2004
