TINTAGEL - KING ARTHUR COUNTRY
ST NECTAN'S GLEN AFTER THE FLOODS
GOOD NEWS!
The following two messages have arrived from the owner of the Glen
' The council started work on a temporary path through the glen yesterday. They reckon it should be finished in the next couple of days mind you I'm a bit worried about how they are going to do the part over the rocks. I will let you know when it is finished so that we can get the word out and perhaps we can get all these people who have offered help to actually come down and give us their custom which hopefully will rub off on the rest of Tintagel!'
 Barry Litton

Further E mail 10th September 2004

" The footpath is now open but by those rocks the path that they have put in is slippery and only an hour after it opened a woman slipped on it and landed on her backside. Fortunately she was not hurt I have expressed my concerns with Chris Monk and Glenton Brown as I would rather have the path closed than have anyone hurt on it."             Barry Litton
