Fry's Coaches served the village extremely well until the
31st December 1998. At one time they had 16 buses and
six taxis. Sadly Fry's became the last garage to serve petrol and on
September 30th 2000, the last pint of petrol was served from the pumps.
Today Tintagel, which once had five petrol stations, is left with no
petrol stations.
Another victory for the Supermarkets, another tragic loss for village life.
